Philadelphia Eagles: Brandon Graham Underwent Microfracture Surgery This Winter

July 16, 2011   ·     ·   Jump to comments

Brandon Graham underwent microfracture surgery on the same right knee that suffered a torn ACL and ended his 2010 season, multiple sources confirmed to PhillySportsDaily.com's Tim McManus.
Sources corroborated a July 11 report that ran on AnnArbor.com, a Michigan-area online news publication, to McManus on Wednesday.
After scaling the draft boards to select the former Wolverine with the 13th selection of the 2010 NFL Draft and watching Graham's disappointing rookie year end Dec. 12 against Dallas, the Eagles hoped Graham might better fulfill expectations this year.
But according to McManus, Eagles coach Andy Reid put Graham's timetable for return after the start of the 2010 season before word of a second, invasive procedure in a short span. Reid has not followed up on his original comments, or responded to the news.
