Philip Rivers Comments on Preseason Scuffle with Frank Clark

Things got chippy between San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers and Seattle Seahawks rookie defensive end Frank Clark during Saturday's preseason contest.
A "minor scuffle," as Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com described it, is now being downplayed by the Chargers quarterback. The incident happened during the second quarter of the Seahawks' 16-15 victory, when Clark and teammate Jordan Hill sacked Rivers.
Williams stated that Clark appeared to push down on Rivers' head after the sack, but Seahawks247 thought otherwise after looking at the replay:
After Rivers pulled on Clark and the two went at it for a few seconds, Chargers offensive tackle King Dunlap pulled the Seahawks defender off his quarterback, receiving a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness.
Rivers broke his silence Tuesday, speaking with Williams about the scrap and the support of his teammates:
