Pierre Thomas to 49ers: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

Pierre Thomas is heading to San Francisco, signing a deal with the 49ers, per his agent, Lamont Smith, on Twitter.  
The 49ers made the move after Reggie Bush was reportedly lost for the season due to a knee injury, while Bush's backup, Mike Davis, suffered a hand injury and will undergo surgery. Carlos Hyde, the starter at the position, sat out Week 8 while he continues to deal with a nagging foot injury.
Thomas met with the Houston Texans on Aug. 5 after it was announced Arian Foster would undergo surgery for a groin injury, but the sides were unable to reach a deal, according to Smith. 
Throughout eight seasons with the New Orleans Saints, Thomas established himself as one of the league's most consistent pass-catching and third-down backs.
