Pittsburgh Steelers: Is Hines Ward a Hall of Famer?

Earlier this week, Hines Ward was on Jim Rome's radio show, where he said that he wouldn't play past 2013, the last year of his current contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. It is possible that he can retire before that season, however, especially if the Steelers win another Super Bowl between now and then.
So, knowing that Hines Ward's career is for sure winding to a close, it got me wondering if he is a Hall of Fame player.
So, lets look at his current career statistics:
Games Played: 207
Receptions: 974
Yards: 11,892
Touchdowns: 85
By the end of this season, Ward should eclipse the 1,000-reception and 12,000-yard milestones. Hines is already the Steelers all-time leader in receptions, yards and touchdown receptions. He also has the third longest streak of consecutive games with a reception with 186 (1998-2010), which shows just how consistent of a receiver he has been throughout his career.
