Police Threaten to Pull Browns’ Protection over Isaiah Crowell Instagram Post

Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell issued an apology Monday for posting a graphic image on Instagram that appeared to show (warning: graphic imagery) a police officer getting his throat slashed by a man in a mask.
Police in Cleveland, however, are reportedly not pleased with the 23-year-old's choice of words following the post, which appeared one day before the shootings in Dallas that left five police officers dead.
According to TMZ Sports, Stephen Loomis, who serves as the president of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association, called Crowell's statement a "store-bought apology" and said the tailback needs to travel to Dallas, meet with the families of the victims and make a donation in order to receive forgiveness from the group.
Loomis, who said the picture was as "offensive as putting a picture of historical African-American men being hung from a tree in the '60s," also told TMZ that if Crowell doesn't make a donation he will "pull Cleveland officers, ...
