A total of 253 players were selected in the 2016 NFL draft. Many more will join franchises as rookies after not being picked during the three-day event held in Chicago.
Rosters are filling up fast. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for some additional experience at some clubs.
Here’s a look at more than a handful of proven veterans (listed alphabetically) that will wind up on a roster sometime soon.
While there is still a lot of talent on the free-agent market, the focus here is on those who have received some interest this offseason. For instance, despite his talents, there hasn't been a large calling for defensive end Greg Hardy.
However, there are some ideal fits between a player and team that make perfect sense for both parties.
