Amukamara Not Chasing Money Wednesday, Feb. 17 During an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Wednesday (h/t Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk), Amukamara said his approach to free agency doesn't necessarily start with money.
“Money is not a huge issue, but, as a professional, you definitely want to be paid what you’re worth,” Amukamara said. “If it’s a crazy number per year or guaranteed number, I think that’s a no-brainer. When everything starts to become close, it does come down to scheme and then location.”
Amukamara did add he would like to stay with the Giants, who drafted him in the first round five years ago, while saying general manager Jerry Reese told the former Nebraska star at the end of this season the team planned to wait until the start of free agency to ...
