Quentin Jammer: The Chargers Unsung Cornerstone

There are few sure things on the Chargers defense. Superstars come and go. "Lights out" often describes a former pro bowler whose star has dimmed.
Over the past seven years, The Chargers have had the 2nd highest winning percentage of all NFL teams. Quentin Jammer has been the one consistent presence on defense in that span.
Since joining the Chargers in 2002, Jammer has established a solid reputation as a shutdown corner. He is expected to be healthy, durable and reliable on every play. Throughout his career, Jammer has been exactly that.
Jammer, who turns 31 on June 19th, is under contract with the Bolts through 2012. He'll most likely finish his career in San Diego. 
He rarely receives big notoriety. He doesn't care.
The University of Texas alum says, "Interceptions get you into the Pro Bowl, but shutting down your receiver wins games. That's what I pride myself on doing, winning games for the Chargers."
