Raiders Lineman Donald Penn Fends off Intruder During Home Invasion

Oakland Raiders offensive tackle Donald Penn has been granted a restraining order against a home intruder whom he fended off this month when he was trying to break into his home.
A TMZ report indicates a man scaled the fence and busted through the front door of Penn's Los Angeles home when he was there with his family. Penn then apprehended the man and held him until police arrived, and the invader was arrested.
A judge granted a restraining order against the unnamed man, who must be 100 yards away from Penn's residence at all times. The TMZ report indicates Penn is expected to seek a "more permanent protection order" when the case reaches court.
It is unclear whether the home invader was attempting to rob Penn and his family; the report indicates only that the man was "going crazy." Penn claims to have not known the man before he tried breaking into his home. The police report did not indicate whether there were criminal charges filed.
