Raiders Place WR Jacoby Ford on Injured Reserve

Explosive Oakland Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford is done for the year. Due to his Lisfranc injury, he has been placed on injured reserve—and not with the newly implemented distinction that would allow him to return this season. 
Each team can send one player to the IR in a spot that would allow them to be activated further down the road. As a sign of the Raiders' ominous start to the year, they also had someone for that roster move after just the first week of the season. 
ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted out the news. 
Raiders placed WR Jacoby Ford on season-ending IR, and placed CB Ron Bartell on reserve/injured list that allows him to return this year.
