Ravens—Steelers: Edge Goes to Steelers and the Defenses

The Baltimore Ravens visit the Pittsburgh Steelers in a crucial AFC North showdown. A Ravens loss and they would fall to 2-2 on the season, two games behind the Steelers who would be a surprising 4-0 without Ben Roethlisberger. According to the NFL odds the Steelers have the slight edge, as I see a line of Pittsburgh "-2" over Baltimore with a total set of 34 points. So the books also expect this to be a low-scoring affair, considering it’s a match-up of two of the best defenses in the league.
The Steelers have been winning behind a stellar defense and a solid running game en route to their 3-0 start. If they were to improve to 4-0, it would be the first time they’ve accomplished that feat in 31 years. Ben Roethlisberger won’t be able to return until Monday, where he can practice for two weeks with the team considering they have a bye week next.
