Robert Griffin III Helped Baylor Teammate Lache Seastrunk Land in Washington

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III may be responsible for bringing a former Baylor Bear to the nation's capital.
Former Bears running back Lache Seastrunk, who rushed for 1,177 yards with 11 touchdowns and averaged 7.4 yards per carry this past season, was still available when Washington was on the clock in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL draft. Griffin believed that the running back would fit in well in the Redskins' offense, so he made a pitch to bring Seastrunk to Washington.
First-year coach Jay Gruden described how Griffin influenced the team's draft pick:
With the 186th overall pick in the draft, Washington drafted Seastrunk. Now, it's time to see if he will have enough chemistry with Griffin to make an impact on the field.
