Robert Griffin III Injury Update: QB Ruled out vs. Ravens with Concussion

One day after an independent neurologist cleared Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III for action in Saturday's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens, that decision was reversed.  
According to the Redskins' official Twitter account, Griffin will be held out of Saturday's contest and "rested one-to-two weeks before returning to action." 
NFL Network's Albert Breer passed along the team's official statement: 
Griffin had this to say following the decision:
Griffin was originally diagnosed with a concussion after he left last week's exhibition showdown with the Detroit Lions due to a head injury. It appeared as though he departed after going to the ground and getting hit while attempting to recover a fumble.
However, Griffin didn't disclose if was injured on that play when speaking with reporters Thursday.
