Robert Griffin III: Jersey Sales Record Magnifies Pressure on RG3 to Succeed

Robert Griffin III has millions of adoring fans—many of whom purchased his NFL jersey, and all of whom expect big things from the Washington Redskins quarterback. 
ESPN.com's Darren Rovell reported on RG3's record-breaking jersey sales on Tuesday, April 9:
Robert Griffin III not only ended the year with the best selling jersey in the league, more of his No. 10 jerseys were sold in the NFL this fiscal year than any jersey in league history. Exact sales numbers on NFLShop.com from April 1, 2012, to March 1, 2013, were not revealed by the NFL.
As if this young man didn't already have enough pressure on his shoulders. 
Forget about Peyton Manning. 
Forget about Deion Sanders.
Forget about Jerry Rice.
All three of these men were/are legends who will be or are already in the Hall of Fame, but throughout their storied careers, none of them were able to generate the kind of buzz and popularity that RG3 has generated.
