Report: Redskins Possibly Planning to Start Cousins Week 1 Saturday, Aug. 29 According to ESPN.com's Dianna Marie Russini, a combination of RG3's poor play and questionable health has the Redskins strongly considering the possibility of utilizing Cousins as their starter when the regular season commences.
Per ESPN.com's John Keim, the Redskins released a statement from independent neurologist Robert N. Kurtzke with regard to Griffin's status ahead of Washington's preseason clash with the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday:
