Russell Okung Injury: Updates on Broncos Star’s Status and Return

Denver Broncos offensive lineman Russell Okung experienced issues after Thursday night's game against the San Diego Chargers that forced him to leave Qualcomm Stadium in an ambulance. After being sent to the hospital, Broncos vice president of public relations Patrick Smyth announced Okung had been released.

Latest on Okung's Status Thursday, Oct. 13 According to Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post, Okung was placed on a stretcher, hooked up to an IV and loaded onto an ambulance after Denver's 21-13 loss to the Chargers. 
Injury-Prone Okung Crucial to Broncos Offensive Line  Okung spent the first six seasons of his career as the anchor of the Seattle Seahawks' line before joining the Broncos during the offseason.
