Center Ryan Kalil has been an underrated factor in the Carolina Panthers' offensive success this season, but the 30-year-old veteran is nursing an ankle injury.

Kalil Doubtful for Week 8 with Ankle InjurySaturday, Oct. 31According to ESPN's David Newton, the four-time Pro Bowler is doubtful to play against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night, but head coach Ron Rivera called him a game-time decision.
Kalil missed practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, which made it clear that he would be a long shot to suit up in Week 8.
The nine-year veteran played the entire game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7, and Rivera is unsure how the ankle injury came about, per Newton.
"I didn't even notice it watching tape," Rivera said. "He finished the game with it. You try to be careful and try to get it to calm down and get the swelling out."
