Ryan Leaf Comments on Johnny Manziel, Drug Abuse on Dan Patrick Show

Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf stated Friday that he's seeing a lot of troubling parallels between his fall from grace and the current issues with Cleveland Browns star Johnny Manziel.
Andrew Perloff of Sports Illustrated passed along comments Leaf made during an appearance on the Dan Patrick Show. He discussed his struggles with drug abuse as well as what goes through his mind when he thinks about Manziel's situation.
"It feels like I'm holding up a mirror. When I hear stories, I say, oh my God, I did that," Leaf said.
Manziel is back under the microscopic after an alleged incident with his ex-girlfriend last week. Rebecca Lopez of WFAA reported Colleen Crowley claimed he assaulted her before threatening to "kill us both" during the altercation.
The quarterback denied those allegations while speaking to TMZ Sports and both police departments involved in the case decided not to file charges, per Tom Withers of the Associated Press.
