Sam Bradford Injury: Star QB’s Absence Guarantees a Cowboys Rout of Rams

After suffering a high ankle sprain against the Green Bay Packers last week, the status of St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford was uncertain against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. With Bradford now officially out, however, the Rams don't stand a chance.
The situation was already dire heading into the weekend for St. Louis with a record of 0-5, but at least they would have had a fighting chance with Bradford under center. In his absence, the Rams will have to turn to little-used backup A.J. Feeley.
Feeley has starting experience with the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins, but there is reason why he is nothing more than a veteran backup at this point. That reason, of course, is that he simply isn't a very good quarterback.
The Rams acquired Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Lloyd from the Denver Broncos ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline, but it is unlikely that he will make much of a difference on Sunday without Bradford throwing him the ball.
