Sammy Watkins Injury: Updates on Bills Star’s Recovery from Foot Surgery

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins broke his foot and underwent surgery, the Bills announced Monday after the Buffalo News' Tyler Dunne reported the news. According to Newsday's Kimberley A. Martin, the wideout had the procedure in April, and it is uncertain when he will return to action.

Conflicting Reports on Watkins' Timeline for Return Monday, May 15 The Bills announced Watkins had surgery "but is not expected to miss any regular-season time."
NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported Watkins broke a bone in his foot and had a screw inserted but "should be ready for training camp."
However, Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports reported Watkins will miss six to eight weeks and the "hope" is that "he's a go for camp."
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Watkins is "expected to miss [the] preseason."
