Darren Sproles has had to overcome adversity his whole life. If not for his small stature, then certainly for his speech impediment.

It's a fair assumption that if Sproles was 6'1", 220 pounds, with a silver tongue, he would have been a first-round pick. What he did in high school and college was nothing short of spectacular.


High School:

He won so many awards, listing them would turn this article into a novel. Let's just say being Kansas' player of the year and in its high school Hall of Fame is common territory to Sproles.
