After undergoing an x-ray on his ribs, it's been tweeted by The Star-Ledger's Jenny Vrentas that Holmes' ribs are not broken.
X-Rays on Holmes were negative, team spokesman said. He's day to day. #nyj
— Jenny Vrentas (@JennyVrentas) August 5, 2012 This is incredible news for the Jets, who are already pretty thin at wideout.
So thin, that Tim Tebow and Antonio Cromartie may just be the second-best WRs on the Jets.
For now, Holmes is day-to-day and it hasn't been reported as to when he will return.
