Senquez Golson Injury: Updates on Steelers CB’s Recovery from Shoulder Surgery

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Senquez Golson has been dealing with a shoulder injury for the duration of training camp.

Golson Had Shoulder Surgery on Friday Friday, August 21 Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced Golson would be out indefinitely following shoulder surgery Friday, per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. The rookie was already on the PUP list, so Friday's announcement was somewhat expected. 
Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, Golson "could be out for the season after undergoing shoulder surgery" although Tomlin "wanted to discuss the situation with doctors before forecasting missed time."
Golson, 22, was the team's second-round pick out of Ole Miss at this year's NFL draft. He finished his senior season with 43 tackles and 10 interceptions, showing an excellent nose for the football.
