Shannon Sharpe Rips Johnny Manziel After QB Releases Statement

Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe doesn't believe troubled NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel is making a genuine effort to turn his life around despite the statement Manziel released earlier this week.
Sharpe recently spoke to TMZ in Los Angeles and ripped Johnny Football for his off-field antics.
"How long are you gonna buy his story?" Sharpe said, per TMZ. "He's shown no remorse, he's shown no willingness to change his behavior...but you believe it and that's the problem."
Sharpe added, per the video, "It's not my job to worry about Johnny Manziel. If he isn't worried about himself, why should I?"
Manziel released a statement on Tuesday through USA Today's A.J. Perez about his NFL future.
"I'm hoping to take care of the issues in front of me right now so I can focus on what I have to do if I want to play in 2016," Manziel said. "I also continue to be thankful to those who really know me and support me."
