Shon Coleman Injury: Updates on NFL Prospect’s Recovery from Knee Surgery

Coleman Out with Knee Injury Thursday, Feb. 25 Coleman will miss on-field workouts at the combine after undergoing surgery on his torn right MCL, per Brandon Marcello of AL.com. 
The redshirt junior—listed at 6'6" and 313 pounds—was projected to go in the late first to early second round, according to CBS Sports.
Coleman was the No. 1 prospect in the state of Mississippi in 2010, per 247Sports. After he committed to Auburn, the 4-star tackle was diagnosed with leukemia. On Sept. 7, 2013, he played his first college game against the Arkansas State Red Wolves.
Rated as the fifth-best offensive tackle in the upcoming draft, per CBS Sports, Coleman suffered the injury Nov. 14 against the Georgia Bulldogs.
