Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 2: Underrated Breakout Player Candidates With Commentary

Guess it is working on deadline every night for the past half-decade or my ADHD brain bouncing around like a Super Ball in a rock tumbler, but I always seem to think best when I’m doing multiple things at once or facing a last-minute decision.
About to shut things down for the night and get some sleep before Week 2 games are upon us, I kept thinking about lesser known players who have the potential, based on opportunity and matchup, to explode onto the scene in Week 2.
I have one at each position, and felt compelled to share. I’ll either look like a genius or a lunatic at this point tomorrow, but here are my potential breakouts this week.
 
John Carlson, TE
 I’ve been hyping him all preseason, and while we didn’t get enough of a look in Week 1, I still think he’ll be a nice value tight end this year. Real stats start this week against the same Denver defense that allowed Mercedes Lewis to score three times and finish Week...
