Philip Rivers may not be happy with the San Diego Chargers' record, but there has been no letdown in his performance.
The Chargers are struggling along at 2-4, and they have not gotten the lift from Melvin Gordon at the running back position that they had hoped for when they selected him in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft. But Rivers is not moping about it—at least not on Sunday afternoons.
He has been a throwing machine while attempting to carry the Chargers on his right shoulder. Rivers is sitting on top of the rankings when it comes to attempts, completions and yardage, and he is showing no signs of slowing down. He has completed 215 of 311 passes for 2,452 yards with 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions on the year.
