Coldplay has the honor of headlining the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
It's as daunting as it sounds. Sunday isn't just the 50th anniversary of one of the globe's most important sporting events. It's Peyton Manning looking to ride off into the sunset with a Lombardi Trophy and Cam Newton seeking his passing-of-the-torch moment.
Coldplay won't be alone, of course, with the NFL going all-out to make this an unforgettable experience. Beyonce will join the epic band on stage, and so will Bruno Mars. Before they grab the attention of the world, the electric Lady Gaga will sing the national anthem.
