Poor Coldplay.
One day before the British rock band was set to headline the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, Beyonce lit the Internet on fire with one of her patented surprise singles.
The pop star accompanied “Formation” with a music video, too. Check it out below (Warning: NSFW language):
Entertainment Tonight confirmed that Queen Bey would perform the new hit when the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers head to their locker rooms.
We already knew Beyonce was going to join Coldplay. But now, she’s commandeered the entire performance.

Bruno Mars, who was reported to have a role at the Super Bowl back in September by ET, confirmed he would join Coldplay and Beyonce:
