Tampa Bay Buccaneers Ready to Take on Banged-Up Pittsburgh Steelers O-Line

The Buccaneers’ young defensive line will face a battered Steelers line Sunday, as guard Trai Essex is out with an ankle injury and tackle Max Starks will tough-out an ankle injury of his own.
He is listed as probable, along with guard Chris Kemoeatu, who is battling a knee injury.

Backup quarterback Dennis Dixon is out with a knee injury, and Charlie Batch will start in his place.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Hines Ward and defensive tackle Casey Hampton will both play.

The Buccaneers have enjoyed good health throughout training camp and the first two weeks of the season. While center Jeff Faine (calf) and running back Kareem Huggins (groin) are questionable, quarterback Josh Freeman (right thumb), running back Cadillac Williams (hamstring) and tight end Kellen Winslow (knee) all participated fully in Friday’s practice and are listed as probable.

If Faine is unable to go, guard Jeremy Zuttah will move over and start at center.
