Tarell Brown Injury: Updates on Patriots CB’s Foot and Return

For the second time this season, the New England Patriots will have to adjust their secondary due to the absence of cornerback Tarell Brown.

Brown Misses Friday Practice Friday, Oct. 16 According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Brown will "likely" miss Sunday's game against Indianapolis with a foot injury that is "potentially serious," and he's going to seek another doctor's opinion on the problem. 
Brown, who signed with the Patriots in July after playing 14 games with Oakland in 2014, ended last season on injured reserve due to a foot problem. The veteran defensive back has slowly worked his way up New England's depth chart, starting two of the three games he has played. 
New England has been cautious with Brown coming off surgery on his foot in the offseason, as he didn't play in Week 3 against Jacksonville. The 30-year-old did play most of the defensive snaps in last week's win over Dallas.
