Tarvaris Jackson Injury: Could Vikings QB Be Headed For Injured Reserve?

Rumors coming out of Minnesota are indicating Tarvaris Jackson's turf toe injury have landed him on the injured reserve list.

If this is the case, then that puts a lot more pressure on Head Coach Leslie Frazier and quarterback Brett Favre as to who will get the start Monday night versus the Chicago Bears.

A league source leaked the news, and the Vikings already have reported the signing of quarterback Patrick Ramsey. At the moment, though, the Vikings quarterback options appear to be Joe Webb, Ramsey and Favre.

What order the depth chart falls on Monday is anybody's guess, though. The Bears are looking to clinch a playoff spot and get that first round bye, and the Vikings are in their way, so it's not going to be a pleasant night for whoever starts.

Webb is a rookie and Ramsey obviously hasn't been with the team long, so that leaves Favre as the best mentally-prepared quarterback. The question is if he'll be physically able to play.
