Cowboys Inquire About WestSaturday, Sept. 5According to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, the Dallas Cowboys have contacted the Browns to discuss West. 
Browns head coach Mike Pettine has stated that Isaiah Crowell is the leader in Cleveland's running back battle heading into Week 1 against the New York Jets, per Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer.
As far as Cleveland's depth at running back goes, according to Cabot, Pettine said rookie running back Duke Johnson is still going through the concussion protocol after leaving the team's third preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second quarter.
