Terrell Owens: Seahawks WR’s Disappointing Debut Shouldn’t Come as a Surprise

Terrell Owens looked lost in his preseason debut with the Seattle Seahawks, but anybody who expected him to make an immediate impact is simply delusional.
Not only is Owens 38 years old, but he hasn't played an NFL game since 2010, he had surgery on a torn ACL 16 months ago and his most recent competitive game was in something called the Indoor Football League.
Add in the fact that he signed with Seattle just over a week ago, and it shouldn't be surprising that he failed to catch a single pass in one half of action on Saturday. 
Owens and Seahawks quarterback Matt Flynn clearly don't have any sort of chemistry yet, as they failed to connect on five tries. They were out of sync for most of the game, and it looked like Owens actually ran the wrong route three of the times that Flynn targeted him.
