As the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens prepare to battle for the third time this season, there is never a lot of hype that needs to be added to the game to make it exciting.
The Steelers hate the Ravens. The Ravens hate the Steelers.
Every time these two teams play each other, it is a slug fest.
Not only are these two teams in the same division, but they are a mirror image of each other.
Both are built on defense. Just like the days of the old AFC Central, if you are going to win in the North, it is going to be with defense.
Historically, these two teams are two of the best in the business when it comes to defense. The Steelers have this year one of the best defenses against the run, ever. They allowed a miniature 62.8 yards per game.
That is 27.3 yards per game less than the second-place Chicago Bears and 31.1 yards less than the Baltimore Ravens have allowed this year.
