When the Oakland Raiders traded two draft picks to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for Matt Flynn in April, they did so with the intention of having him lead their offense in 2013.
But some questionable play from Flynn during the preseason and a strong performance from second-year signal-caller Terrelle Pryor in the team's last outing against the Chicago Bears has the starting quarterback job in Oakland seemingly up for grabs.
In the team's third preseason game—the one often viewed as the most important by NFL coaching staffs, as first-team players tend to log the most snaps—Flynn struggled from the jump, completing just three of his six passes for 19 yards and two interceptions.
He would finish the game with a passer rating of 17.4.
