Terron Armstead Injury: Updates on Saints Tackle’s Knee and Return

New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Terron Armstead will miss Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers due to a knee injury.

Armstead to Miss 3rd Straight Game vs. Panthers Friday, Oct. 14 Armstead has not played since suffering the injury in Week 2 against the New York Giants. There was hope he would suit up coming out of the bye week, but he was absent all week from practice.
The 2016 season has been injury-riddled from the start for Armstead, who began camp on the physically unable to perform list. He was on the field for New Orleans' first two games but had trouble as a run-blocker.
Andrus Peat will continue to man quarterback Drew Brees' blind side with Armstead out. Pro Football Focus has highlighted Peat's struggles in serving as Armstead's replacement, ranking him 51st among offensive tackles this season. He's had a real propensity for struggling in run-blocking situations.<...
