From a viewer's perspective, the NFL preseason feels like a blur of backups and meaningless plays, but the preseason can have major implications for Week 1 starting lineups.
Here's a roundup of post-Week 2 preseason roster buzz.
 
The Sleeper Who was Put to Rest
Vincent Brown looked ready to catch fire after Week 1 of preseason play, hauling in four catches for 81 yards and a touchdown.
Brown is entering his second NFL season, and fantasy gurus had the San Diego State product on their sleeper lists.
Rumor had it that Brown was even outplaying slated starter and former Saint Robert Meachem during training camp.
But Week 2 of the preseason took an unfortunate turn for the rising star. Brown broke his ankle on a touchdown play in the third quarter (sort of a shame that he was still playing at that point in the game).
