Tiger Woods: Bribed a Woman to Keep Dad’s Affair Secret?

According to a new book, Tiger's transgressions were not limited to himself. In His Father's Son, a new book about Woods' relationship with his father, author Tom Callahan claims that Woods bribed a woman to keep Earl Woods' extramarital affair a secret.
Earl's reputation as a womanizer was well known, as he and Tiger's mother, Tida, split during Tiger's early years. The affairs wore on Woods, and according to the book, he frequently called his high school girlfriends crying, because his father was busy with another woman. 
In fact, at one point Woods was forced to pay off one of those women in an effort to keep her quiet. However, Tiger was incredibly unhappy with doing this, and the payment helped to create a rift that lasted between the pair for many years. 
Perhaps, with this new light shed on Woods' relationship with his father, it becomes easier to understand just how he managed to cheat on his wife with so many women.
