Time For a Change: Philadelphia Eagles Fire Defensive Line Coach Rory Segrest

Looks like Sean McDermott will have some company.
Philadelphia Eagles defensive line coach Rory Segrest was relieved of his duties today.
The 37-year-old Segrest spent the last two seasons coaching the defensive line, even though he has never played or coached in the NFL.
This may not come to much of a surprise, considering the Eagles could not generate any pass rush late in the season.
Eagles defensive linemen recorded just seven sacks in the last six games.
Segrest faced adversity when top rookie Brandon Graham went down with a season-ending injury, but he just could not make much happen on the defensive line.
Segrest especially struggled in the postseason, where the team failed to record a sack against the Cowboys and Packers, giving up huge running totals to both teams.
I do applaud him with his effort in teaching Antonio Dixon, who is one of the best run-stuffing defensive tackles in the game, but that probably is the only noticeable improvemen...
