Todd Heap to Be Inducted into Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honor

The Baltimore Ravens announced on Tuesday night that longtime tight end Todd Heap will be inducted into the team's Ring of Honor this coming season. 
Heap was drafted by the Ravens in 2001, and spent 10 seasons in Baltimore. A two-time Pro Bowler, Heap hauled in 467 catches for 5,492 yards and 41 as a member of the Ravens. He was ultimately released prior to the 2011 season, and spent the final two years of his career as a member of the Arizona Cardinals. 
In a decade in which the Ravens were known as one of the league's most run-heavy offenses, Heap was one of the few pass-catchers to stand out in Baltimore during the 2000s. While the Ravens went through several quarterbacks in Heap's 10 years, he was one of the few constants on the team's offense. While he may not be an NFL Hall of Famer, Heap is currently the Ravens' all-time leader in touchdown catches (41) and ranks second in receiving yards behind Derrick Mason.
