Urban Meyer Comments on Tim Tebow Potentially Playing in CFL

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer spoke to Rich Eisen and Mike Mayock of the NFL Network about Tim Tebow's future on Saturday during the NFL Scouting Combine.  
"I was actually in a conversation with him about going to Canada. ... I think if there's a right (opportunity) I think he'd probably do it," Meyer told the pair, per Austin Knoblauch of NFL.com.
Tebow, 28, last appeared in an NFL game in 2012 with the New York Jets after spending two seasons with the Denver Broncos. He was with the Philadelphia Eagles during training camp in 2015, but he was cut before the start of the regular season.
"He does have somewhat of an awkward throwing motion at times," Meyer, who was Tebow's coach at the University of Florida, acknowledged. "I really thought the Chip Kelly experience (in Philadelphia) would be his opportunity. I really hope he gets his foot in the door."
