Vince Young Injury Update: Tennessee Titans Quarterback Out For Week 7

After leaving the Titans' Week 6 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars with leg injuries (to his ankle and knee), it was unclear whether or not Tennessee quarterback Vince Young would answer the bell for Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

After taking a wait-and-see approach with Young throughout the week, the Titans today announced that it will be veteran back-up Kerry Collins who starts under center, as Young will sit out with his injuries.

Collins had been battling a finger injury on his throwing hand that had even put his status in question, but he will be starting against the Philadelphia Eagles, a team with which he has plenty of experience thanks to his days with the New York Giants.
