Wesley Johnson Injury: Updates on Jets Center’s Hand and Return

New York Jets center Wesley Johnson will miss minicamp because of a fractured bone in his hand.

Johnson Fractures Hand, Expected Back for Training Camp Tuesday, June 14 Johnson's agent, Brian Parker, said he is expected to be healthy for training camp, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Heading into his third NFL season, Johnson appeared in 10 games and started one last season with the Jets. He played all over the offensive line but mostly settled at center behind Pro Bowler Nick Mangold.
The Jets will have a little trouble with depth for as long as he's out, but this isn't much of an issue. Mangold remains one of the best in the world at what he does at age 32 and is an irreplaceable cog in the middle of the New York offensive line. Undrafted free agent Kyle Friend can also handle some of the backup center duties with Johnson out of the lineup.
