What Ray Lewis and Ben Roethlisberger’s Relationship Says about Steeler Fans

I'm sure everyone has heard the story about Ray Lewis and Ben Roethlisberger texting each other. Before actually reading into it, my first recollection was the famous text message Rashard Mendenhall sent to Ray Rice saying he was going to have a big night against the Baltimore defense on Monday Night Football in 2008.
Oddly enough, we learned that Lewis and Roethlisberger are pretty close on a personal level. Also, I'm sure most of us can admit it's a little bit weird with the players being on two teams that make up one of the most bitter rivalries in the entire NFL.
Their stories are very similar, so that might be why they have been sending each other texts recently, but I'm willing to bet that any NFL player's phone has at least a quarter of the league's numbers in it.
Lewis knows what Roethlisberger is going through. Back in 2000, Lewis was actually arrested and charged for murder. He later pleaded guilty to a count of obstruction of justice.
