Why the Kansas City Chiefs Will Win the AFC West

The Kansas City Chiefs are going back to the playoffs for the first time since 2006. Mark it down.
This prediction is not a popular one, as most people believe the Chargers will be the class of the AFC West once again, but I believe the Chiefs have the pieces in place to challenge for and ultimately win the division this season.
The Chiefs were a team in disarray for much of last season, as they had a new general manager, coaching staff, and quarterback. The biggest problem at Arrowhead came in the form of Larry Johnson, who was released after Week Seven.
The dismissal of Johnson led to the emergence of Jamaal Charles as a potential superstar running back. The running game is one of the main reasons Chiefs fans should be optimistic about the upcoming season.
Charles will team with the recently signed Thomas Jones to form one of the league's best rushing duos. Charles is a threat to go the distance every time he touches the ball, while Jones proved he's still a bruis...
