Will Blackmon Re-Signs with Redskins: Latest Contract Details and Reaction

The Washington Redskins re-signed free-agent cornerback Will Blackmon to a two-year contract on Monday.
CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora reported the news, and CSN Mid-Atlantic's Tarik El-Bashir confirmed Washington's open-market transaction.
Blackmon had a fine 2015 campaign for the Redskins. The 31-year-old appeared in 15 games with 10 starts, registering 49 combined tackles, three forced fumbles, two interceptions and a sack.  
Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports noted how Washington had minimal expectations for Blackmon when it brought him aboard prior to last season:
Blackmon was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars in February 2015 after having played only eight games for the team in 2014 and 15 contests with eight starts during the 2013 campaign.
